Information on accessibility
This accessibility information applies to the service offered by this ticket shop for registering and ordering tickets for events. The ticket shop is provided by Converia GmbH and operated by the event organizers on their own responsibility.
Status of compliance with requirements
This ticket shop is fundamentally compliant with the requirements of EU Directive 2016/2102 and the German Accessibility Enhancement Act (BFSG). The technical implementation is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity level AA.
Non-accessible content
The following content is only partially accessible:
PDF invoices and tickets
Documents such as invoices and tickets are automatically generated as PDF documents. Due to technical and economic constraints, it is currently not possible to provide these PDFs with full accessibility features (e.g., tags for semantic structuring). This may result in restrictions in the perception and navigation of the documents for users with assistive technologies such as screen readers.
If you require an accessible version of an invoice, please contact us. We will be happy to provide you with an alternative, accessible version.
Accessibility features
Our service is based on standardized software for ticket shops. The manufacturer (Converia GmbH) has optimized it for digital accessibility. The manufacturer regularly conducts further automated and manual tests both internally and externally. The manufacturer's instructions were taken into account when setting up the software in order to achieve an accessible result.
The following components of the ticket shop meet accessibility requirements:
- Navigation structure: The ticket shop is optimized for screen reader use. The elements follow a logical order, are fully tab-navigable, and structured with semantically meaningful HTML elements.
- Structured content: Content in the ticket shop and other content provided by the event organizer team is structured in a meaningful way and is also accessible to assistive technologies.
- Keyboard operation: All functions in the ticket shop can be operated entirely with the keyboard. Interaction is possible without a mouse.
- Colors and contrasts: The colors used meet the color contrast requirements of WCAG 2.1.
- Payment methods: The payment options offered through our payment service providers are accessible.
Testing methodology
Accessibility has been ensured through the following measures:
- Automated tests: Regular tests for semantic correctness, keyboard navigation, and contrast values.
- Manual tests: Review by trained testers with a focus on use by screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
